Historical Dance Workshop

Summer Dances

Join us on Tuesday 17 February for a joyful workshop of historical dance. Explore summer-inspired dances from the 17th and 18th centuries, with a beginner-friendly first half and an advanced second half—featuring a dance rumoured to have been performed by the Sun King himself.

You can choose to attend either the beginner or the intermediate class or both! If you are unsure please reach out via sydneybaroqueballet@gmail.com.

6:15-7:15pm: Beginner

7:15-8:15pm: Intermediate

1 hour – $25

2 hours – $45

What to bring:

Comfortable clothing

Dance shoes – Jazz or Ballet flats or small heeled character shoes. Dance shoes are essential for continuers class but comfortable, low grip shoes will be fine for beginner class.

Water bottle!

Class etiquette:

It is a requirement that you participate in the warm-up so please be ready to dance at your class start time.

As with any dance, please be careful if you have any injuries and let the teacher know before class starts.
